Information about Strength Training Private Lessons

Private Strength Training lessons are available through Champion Sports Advantage.  Private Lessons can be done in place of scheduled classes, to work on  specific needs or for those from out of town.

Private lessons can be done to take the place of a scheduled class for those who are unable to attend class time offered.  When doing private lessons for this reason, it is required that an athlete have a thirty minute or longer lesson to get through the strength portion of the workout.

Private lessons can also be used to work on a specific need or needs of the athlete.  Since class is based on a group setting with individualized workout, it is sometimes important to spend some one-on-one time working on many key factors as well as to break down an exercise for increased proficiency.  This could included working on off-ice jumping technique, explosiveness, conditioning, rehabilitation or any other possible goals of the athlete.  The advantage with private lessons are the exercises can be further broken down through the use of creative training exercises.  For example, it an athlete is struggling with checking their free leg on the landing of a jump, exercises particular to that individual need can be developed to help them both in terms of strength and coordination.  These private lessons can range from as short as fifteen minutes to as long as needed and can be done every week, bi-monthly or whenever needed.
