All classes start with a dynamic warm-up that incorporates dynamic movements to increase athletes mobility. Following the warm-up the skaters move on to their strength workout, which is individually tailored to their own specific needs. To conclude class, the athletes will end with speed/agility and quickness work if time permits and then flexibility/recovery techniques. The aim of Strength Training Classes are to improve an athlete's overall athletic ability, since this has an influence on one's skating ability. |
